When I came to Dr. Lubitz, I had been
having issues with a sinus infection for 2 years and had tried every
medication and seen multiple ENT specialists. My current ENT doctor
suggested my problems may be connected to allergy problems and I found
Dr. Lubitz through my insurance plan. When I met with him he was very
determined to find the cause of my sinus infection and performed the
appropriate tests (determining I had pretty extreme allergies). He
coordinated with my ENT doctor and radiologist to get my CT scans and
all of my information, then spent time to explain the science behind my
problem, complete with diagrams! I have certainly never received such
careful and attentive treatment, but because of this I have stuck with
him as my allergist for over a year, getting shots on a weekly basis
(which, along with the appropriate medications, have helped my sinus
infection go away and prevented any new ones). Additionally, he has a
comedic flair which is missing in most New York doctors. His nurse,
Christina, is wonderful as well and a pleasure to talk to on a weekly
basis! They are very sensitive to the economy and, if you lose your job,
will help you figure out a way to continue receiving care even without
health insurance. If you want true health care and a family feeling,
this is definitely the place to go.
