Difficulty in Diagnosing Rashes and Hives

Typically patients complain of a bug bite that stays swollen for five or six days. This may happen in patients who had an eczema as a child or an adult. This predisposes them to higher reactivity to an arthropod bite—a seven legged insect. One has to consider the skin and the internal component in the body. If a person consumes alcohol, it will predispose to react to the bite. Cigarettes and vitamin B6 might make the wound larger. Patient autoimmune predisposition might also make the wounds larger. As the Beatles say life goes on within you and without, meaning that your internal constitution will  contribute  to the size of the swelling.
