Often, yes. Dr. Lubitz may recommend skin or blood testing during your consultation, and most skin test results are ready the same visit. See allergy testing.
Should I stop antihistamines before my visit?
Antihistamines can interfere with skin testing, so we recommend pausing them for 3–5 days before your appointment if you can. Keep taking asthma medicines, nasal steroid sprays and your other regular medications. If your symptoms are intolerable, keep taking everything and tell us. The full list is on Your First Visit.
